Hello Dragon Families,

Did you know that our school fundraiser is next week? We are having a virtual Valentine’s Day event. We hope to raise money for experiential learning opportunities and to help with yearbook costs. See all the details HERE. Families can help by having their children secure pledges from family and friends.

As we are nearing the middle of the year, we want to remind families that they should not communicate with teachers on camera during class time. We want to honour the virtual classroom, just as we would a physical classroom and not have parents join the class to ask questions. Please email your child’s teacher and they will respond in a timely manner.

We are extremely lucky to have planning time teachers this year and be able to teach the full curriculum at St. Isidore, including Physical Education and the Arts. Children should be ready to be active and fully participate in Drama, Dance and Physical Education. Our teachers do everything they can to encourage and motivate students to get up and move and we kindly ask that you remind your child that full participation will lead to greater success. We are partners in education and appreciate your support at home.

Term 1 report cards will be distributed on February 17th. Stay tuned for distribution details.
